Saya, the leader of the Moonflower faction, engages in combat alongside her loyal Pal, Selyne. Here’s a detailed guide on how to defeat these adversaries.

Location of Saya & Selyne

You’ll need to head to the Sakurajima island to locate these characters. The tower where they are located is easily found in the northwest part of the map, south of the Astral Mountains and north of the Forgotten Isle.

The Moonflower Tower is situated in the center of Sakurajima, with coordinates -597, 206. Nearby is a fast travel point, which will make your journey more convenient.

Battle Strategy for Saya & Selyne

Selyne is a Dark/Neutral element Pal, unique for her specific combination of these elements. The Dark element neutralizes the weaknesses of the Neutral component, making Dragons the optimal choice for this fight. You might already have some Pals that were effective against previous bosses weak to Dragons. If you’re looking for new candidates, consider these Pals:

• Jormuntide
• Jormuntide Ignis
• Blazamut Ryu
• Astegon

This battle occurs at the current level cap of 55. To fully utilize the latest technologies, your Pals should also be leveled up to this tier.

If you already have Plasteel armor and weapons such as laser rifles or guided missiles, you’re in good shape. Otherwise, you should use the best available armor and weapons. Increasing the number of accessory slots will also enhance your chances of success.

Your Pals should handle most of the combat work while you support them by shooting from a distance. Targeting Saya and Selyne’s heads is highly effective, as they usually stand close together.

Selyne’s attacks are notably fast and might surprise you initially. However, you’ll be able to avoid them once you get used to their attack animations. Keeping your distance will help avoid many problems. Pay special attention to the Crescent Beam attack. You’ll recognize it when the crescent behind Selyne brightens and they rise above it.

As soon as this animation begins, run sideways to avoid the large crescent strike. Sometimes, you can use pillars for cover, although they don’t always protect you from the strike, which can significantly lower your health. Staying on the move seems to be the more reliable option.

Despite the significant damage and impressive visual effects of the attacks, your main objective is to finish the fight within ten minutes. Given the considerable health pool of the opponents and their ability to navigate obstacles, stick to a ranged combat strategy.

Continue to target the bosses while monitoring your Pals’ health. If they quickly lose health, call them back immediately to help them avoid fatal attacks. Don’t forget to send them back into battle to prevent the enemy’s focus from being solely on you.
