As the story progresses, the need for the Fabric of Fate reappears when crafting Shadow Extraction, necessary for the Permeation of Witching-Wards spell, which requires Shadow from this particular alchemy. You will need three more units of the Fabric of Fate.

During the early access phase, other spells may also benefit from the Fabric of Fate. For example, the Consecration of Ashes spell, which enhances your Tarot Arcana cards, requires six units.
