When you find the meteorite’s impact site, you will typically encounter Pals and people competing for the valuable resources contained within the rock.

Meteorite Spawn Locations

Encountering a meteorite in Palworld can happen anywhere and at any time. Our first experience with a meteorite occurred upon arriving at Sakurajima Island. Meteorite events continue to occur randomly throughout the game world during the day.

Currently, there is no method to initiate a meteorite spawn. However, you can try to expedite the process by following the meteorite trail and mining resources from the impact site. Once a meteorite disappears, there is a chance for a new one to appear, but another meteorite will not spawn until the current one is gone.

Methods for Obtaining Meteorite Fragments

To obtain meteorite fragments in Palworld, you need to follow the fiery trail leading from the sky to the impact site. Typically, at the impact site, you will find several strong Pals and human adversaries vying for the valuable materials.

Once you clear the area, use your pickaxe to extract meteorite fragments from the large rock. Keep in mind that the fragments are quite heavy, so you might need to make several trips.

Using Meteorite Fragments

Meteorite fragments in Palworld have significant uses—they can be processed using a special crusher to yield three pieces of palladium from each fragment. This makes the fragments extremely valuable.

Additionally, if you prefer using weapons, meteorite fragments are required to craft the Meteorite Launcher at the weapons factory. This powerful rocket launcher deals 2000 damage and requires the following components for crafting:

• 100 meteorite fragments
• 30 purified ingots
• 20 palladium fragments

IMPORTANT

To do this, you first need to unlock new technologies available from level 37, which require three points in ancient technologies.
